Yep that is the idea. Otherwise there is nothing to make staff stand out, could be confusing for new members.

It made me laugh, so I figured why not put it there?

As for the name, I'm guessing it's too late to change it from plus+ to something else. Like Jordan said, I read it as 'plus', even with the extra + at the end, so it's not exactly a big issue for me.
