What are you doing with it?
If you're watching videos constantly/playing music/always on wifi/have a load of apps running in the background you won't get a great battery life.
also is the phone new? cos you're always on it when it's new.
I'm getting tops 6hours should I send back for repairs?
Phone is less than a month old

Yeah...
Turn off wifi and gps unless you really need it, huge drain. turn brightness down to whatever is just tolerable also

this is one of the main reasons im reluctant to get rid of my £10 piece of crap phone.
i havent charged it for about 4 days now, and its got half battery, and i have a 2 hour long convo on it almost everyday, plus texts.
I do miss that from my old lg shine but the good outweigh the bad of a smartphoneits worth it

My friend has the Desire and the battery on his doesn't last very long either.
Turn off wifi and turn the brightness down.
Mine lasts a day or so, less than that when i'm at home since I always have wifi on and often watch youtube in bed before I get out haha.
I miss phones that lasted like a month without a charge (Nokia 3310 anyone?!) but I don't mind charging it everyday, I might buy another microusb cable tho so I can charge when i'm not at home if needed.
I am still managing to get a couple of days out of my desire battery even with a lot of use. Are you using a task killer app?
Not using a task killer atm and I have Spotify and/or nimbuzz in the background with some email almost min brightness never use gps and never use WiFi unless I am at home and charging my phone.
Can anyone tell me a good app killer

Newer android versions don't really need a task killer, it manages stuff pretty well!
But, I did buy Advanced Task Manager. It auto ends stuff every xxx amount of time you choose and you can exclude certain things from ending as well. Also comes with a widget you select and will end everything.

My phone's battery sucks, or at least to me it does. Then again if I have it in my hands, I'm using multiple things. I do make sure to use a task killer, although I should look into a better one.
Smartphones suck balls for battery life. Mine can last a day at the absolute most. I usually charge it twice a day.
Do some google research for better batteries for your phone, there's quite a few out there. For my dream a bigger, better battery exists but it comes with a new backplate because it sticks out more than the stock battery lol.

If mines on 2g and I don't use it constantly it lasts maybe 2 days, but other than that I do only get a full day of usage normally.
Not used Bluetooth yet and awesome.
