yay android 2.2

I'm still waiting for Orange to to release the update. I suppose i should just get another ROM too many to choose from though

Cyanogenmod Kev! I finally rooted from 1.5 to 2.1, very nice. CM6 stable (2.2) should be out soon

I gots the 2.2.

Only problem I had was that it completely fucked my notifcation/ringtones. Scared the crap out of me when I got a facebook message and the notification tone for it was my ex boyfriend's old ringtone. *QQ*

I'm on Telus with a Motorola Milestone. We're supposed to get 2.2 during Q4, so in the following months. I don't mind how it is now, all I want if Flash.

HTC Desire.

I think it's unlocked cos it's on contract w/ vodafone and I got 2.2 as soon as I turned it on and connected to wifi.

Yeah I tried the keyboard on the Dream 2 weeks ago when I had to enter someone's APN's. I liked!

It's quite fast on my old unit, i can only imagine it's really fast on newer android phones

I've already used the application data backup thing

Tethering might be nice to have

Adding geological location to camera pics is neat

the drop down google search that syncs with stuff i have searched on my pc is sweet

Its nice to be able to install apps to the sdcard, but that's not very reliable. sdcards are not meant for tons of read/write

Overall, i like!

plus all the (tons) of extras from Cyanogenmod

I've just found out Orange have pushed back their release until mid to late September. So I think I will give this a try. Thanks Brad
