The Tapatalk plug in has been running for some time now, so I'm interested to see who's using it over the mobile site.

love Tapatalk with the iPhone app. I would not switch back to the mobile site (no offence) if you paid me. its so much easier to browse and I don't have to worry about accidentally pressing the wrong link. plus, pictures can be uploaded when you post!

Mobile skin, but not very often as my phone is crap to use for Internet — although not quite as crap as the Tapatalk Nokia app.

I'd use tapatalk if the blackberry version was any good.

Whilst I think the mobile skin is good for non touchscreen devices, on a touchscreen it isn't the best. e.g. Log out is directly below new posts, both are fairly small so its easy to misclick. Its also pretty hard to navigate between pages.

I often use my phone when im downstairs and I cant be bothered to go upstairs just to bring my laptop down. I don't see the big deal. Also for situations like danny said. If I'm travelling or waiting for something its better than sitting there doing nothing.

I very rarely use IBTL on my phone. It's only if I've posted a thread and I'm awaiting a semi-urgent reply that I'd bother, which is rare.

Because I dont see how posting threads on an internet forum 24/7 is healthy? It is more of an obsession? Why would anyone want to be on the forum when they are home, on the road, in work, in school, waiting for train, on the train? Browsing the internet, ok, going on a specific website all the time while waiting for a train? Seems kind of sad?

Dunno what goes on in your head, but if you enjoy talking to people you like (bear in mind most of us have known each other for over 4 years or so) then I don't see why that's "unhealthy" compared to spending your time doing jack shit.

You could stare out a window while on a train for 2 hours or you could have a chat with your mates, same as going on facebook.

What in the hell is wrong with you? Why should visiting the site you like the most be classified as an unhealthy addiction, because OMG I LIKE READING A CERTAIN SITE, whilst browsing any other website that could be totally the same be classed as normal? Your argument is flawed to the extreme and you obviously do not know why technology has been advancing the way it has. Hint: Because people want to do what they like on-the-go. (oh sorry, that's more of an answer).

Nick your argument has a massive flaw... It's actually "sadder" to be on IBTL at home on your PC as you could be out doing something productive with your time. Whereas being on IBTL mobile when your waiting for a train or whatever is actually far more productive and actually indicates you have a life as your out from your bedroom doing other things in life.

Back on topic, I agree with Mark, if the app was any good on my Blackberry I would use it. I still use the mobile site though.

Personally, if you're on IBTL quite often and then you feel the need to hop on while you're just waiting for a bus or some shit, then yeah .. little bit of a problem. I can see people hopping on MSN and being mobile and talking to people while they're on a train or waiting for something but if you're spending that entire time on IBTL ... little odd.

i agree with nicky, communication via the internet is an activity that should only be undertaken in your bedroom while feeling great shame and should be followed up with a session of flaying yourself with a whip for being such a sad miserable dick

and to those that think it's okay to be checking a forum while waiting for a bus or a train or whatever, you have a serious problem if you're actually in that position of going a little while in a day without doing something incredibly exciting. what are you doing sitting on a train with your phone out when you could be breaking a window, climbing out and throwing a party on the roof for all the passengers like nicky who are way too cool to be wasting minutes away on some sad internet forum like you losers

I'm not even sure if iPhones support cookies but, it sounds like a cookie problem.

I'll look into making it a little more sympathetic for touchscreen, Mark, as well as fixing edit posts. If anyone has any other suggestions for the mobile skin, through them out there.

The mobile site never redirects me either. It used to with older versions of vB. I always have to go back and then click home so it refreshes and loads my account w/ new posts etc.

I RARELY go on ibtl via a mobile device. If i do go on the ibtl mobile skin. It's when I'm in Ireland and my connection is so dodgy that I need something with faster loading times. But I'm still on my desktop.

It cost me £2 for a better user experience, plus I can use it on the other forums with Tapatalk installed.

i don't use tapatalk as you have to buy the app to be able to post so it can get bent as i still have no reliable means of buying anything off teh nets now.
