I'll try breaking it down:

Music:
Weezer, Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin, The Spinto Band, Ozma, Modest Mouse, just for a few examples.

Television:
The Wire, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Scrubs, Breaking Bad, Entourage.
(Oh yeah and didn't those two last shows you mentioned just start heheeh, I like "The Buried Life," at first I thought it was stupid then I thought it was good.)

Films:
Raging Bull, Fargo, man I can never pinpoint my all time favorites because there are so many I like, but those two would definitely rank at the top.
