space victory can be a pain in the ass, i wish there was some way to disable it (it's how i've won two games but i feel like it's a bit of a cop out). LOL i generally play each game avoiding war, and i'll only declare war on someone if they're preventing my civ from expanding (and they're much weaker than me). so colonialist of me. civ 5 looks really good, the new graphics engine looks great. pretty sure my computer wouldn't be able to handle it as it can barely handle civ 4.
yeah when i start a game i'll say i'm only to go play for an hour, five hours later i'm sitting there saying "just one more turn..". the last game i played was rather satisfying, there's nothing like militarily wiping out a smaller rival in barely any time or losses.
