The winner will be decided by an open vote at the end of the month, which everyone is allowed to vote in, but those who submit photos cannot vote for themselves. All entrants will be anonymous. Therefore, do not post pictures in this thread, instead PM them to me. When submitting a photo, please ensure you upload the image to a generic image host, such as imageshack. Do not submit a picture hosted on a site such as flickr or photobucket for anonymity reasons. Please do include a description, as it would be nice for people to be able to see these details after the vote is over. The closing date for the competition is 30/9/2010.

The winning photo wins a prize of 1 month of Competition Winners Plus+ Membership.

If you intend to enter, please post below, along with any comments, or suggestions for themes for future competitions.

Rules:

• PM any entrants to Mark, with the title "Photography Competition AUGUST".
• The maximum number of entries per person is three photos (these can be sent together or separately).
• Entrants retain ownership and all other rights to future use of the photographs they enter.
• Each entry shall not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property rights of any third person or entity, or violate any person’s rights of privacy or publicity.
• All photos submitted must be your own work. Submission of non original work results in disqualification.
• Photographs can be edited or have additions as long as the sources are original. Submisions using copies from or adaptations of works by other photographers or artists are not allowed.
• By entering entrants also agree to be bound by these Rules and that the results of the vote are final.
• Any votes made by entrants for their own photos will not be counted in the final tally.
• The contest deadline is subject to change with or without warning.
• Staff are allowed to enter also, however just for fun. In the event of a staff member winning the vote, the prize will go to the whichever non-staff member has the most votes.

Please take some time to view the images below, and choose three pictures which are, in your opinion the best, ordering them first, second and third accordingly. e.g.

The pictures will be awarded points according to the order:

1st = 3 points
2nd = 2 points
3rd = 1 point

After 1 week (on the 12th at some point) the voting will be closed and the points will be tallied up. The photo with the most points will earn the winner 1 month of competition Plus+.

Everyone is allowed to vote, but those who have submitted an entry may not vote for their own. Any votes for your own photos will be discounted. Any submissions that were hosted at a source that may be traced back to a specific username were re uploaded to a generic image host, for anonymity reasons.
